Spotlight Sunday 3.0

So here now in our third edition of Spotlight Sunday I've selected again three great artists who I hope will be pretty new to those following the blog:

Next up I've got a DJ whose tracks I threw up a couple months ago and really enjoyed. Rod Kashani goes by Sticky K and fittingly enough, his album's called The Weirdo. His music has an awesome and unique sound to it, so keep your ears out for his other tracks, and check out his SoundCloud

Dubsided recordings doing big things

Subskrpt, an artist who was just signed to the man Switch's Dubsided Recordings label put out a new record recently. On one side of the record is a track called We'll Be Fine. I can't stop listening to it.

Just got back from the Lollapalooza music festival today. It was bananas. I got to see rusko, kaskade, felix da house cat, erol alkin, tiga, and loads more people. Anyway, I wanted to post a track which I heard several djs drop this weekend. It's a remix of a Kylie Minogue tune called Get Outta My Way. It's biiiiiig!

oOoOO is a solo artist who occasionally teams up with the band "White Ring." This is a genre wholly new to me, but it is classified as "witch house", maybe due to the ominous undertones. This tune is hot to cruise around to. Check it.

Spotlight Sunday 2.0

So in our second installation of Spotlight Sunday I'll be throwing out three relatively newer artists with some awesome original tracks and mixtapes I've gotten over the past week.

First up is Ryley from Adelaide Australia, with a great mash up of We Should All Wear Polkadots and We Don't Speak Americano, as well as a pretty cool mixtape. Check out his myspace or better yet soundcloud to peruse his music, and check out his eclectic and variable sound.
