Spotlight Sunday 4.0

Alright guys, this was supposed to go out weeks ago, but school just started for me, and I was moving... So this isn't gonna go out on a sunday now... but as usual I'm gonna throw up three artists you probably don't know that well, but should be keeping an ear out for in the near future.

So, if you dig heavy thumping hard hitting bass beats your gonna like this first one. Wobble Lovers come to us straight from the UK, and they bring the beat like WHOAH. First up, check out their collab with A Girl and A Gun , and if you dig it, head over to their SoundCloud

Wobble Lovers feat. A Girl And A Gun - Killa Pandas by Wobble Lovers

Paul Whitehead - Breakdown ( Puppy Giant Remix ) by Wobble Lovers

Next up here I thought I'd bring around CEPI , who did a great remix of Krafty Kids' Rock All Night , and always keeps the bitches dancing. Again, this one goes hard.

CEPI - Anniversary by CEPI

And last up, but absolutely never least is RealBoy , from LA. I've thrown up their stuff, including their Glam set, and their song The Ritz, a song from Putting on the Ritz, which I absolutely loved. Anyway, they've just dropped a new song called Robo Mouse and I'm digging it:

Kona Triangle

I've heard a lot of glitch artists emerging the past two years trying to outshine the rest, but have just ended up sounding disappointingly similar. Nosaj thing and FlyLo are nothing compared to these guys. Only artist I think is on their level is Hudson Mohawke, but even they aren't completely comparable.

It is difficult to have soul and coalesce your personality into these types of songs, but I think Kona Triangle is something else. This is the collab of artist "Lone" and "Keaver & Brause". Their first album "Sing a New Sapling Into Existence" came out just last year. I really enjoy their nature themes they incorporate in lots of their songs; it's quite surreal.

I absolutely love the beat dropping around 1:30. Adds a whole new dynamic to the song. Definitely one of those songs you put on repeat.

New KDeluxe Track

Just finished a new dirty dutch house track, and wanted to share it with you guys first. I'm thinking about sending this one (along with another forthcoming tune i have) to a few record labels. More to come...

John Dahlback

John Dahlback has always been one of my favorite Swedish DJ's. Perhaps his music is so great since both parents of his are musicians as well. I've listed my top three songs of his - listen up.

Spencer and Hill

It speaks for itself.

Spotlight Sunday 3.0

So here now in our third edition of Spotlight Sunday I've selected again three great artists who I hope will be pretty new to those following the blog:

First up is the trio from LA KRFTKDS , correctly pronounced Krafty Kids. They've got some AWESOME hard hitting originals over on their SoundCloud that are definitely worth checking out if you like their tracks below:

THE BLISTERS BOYZ - SCREAM ( KRFTKDS REMIX ) by krftkds

KRFTKDS FT. TRASHTHIS - ROCK ALL NIGHT by krftkds

Next up I've got a DJ whose tracks I threw up a couple months ago and really enjoyed. Rod Kashani goes by Sticky K and fittingly enough, his album's called The Weirdo. His music has an awesome and unique sound to it, so keep your ears out for his other tracks, and check out his SoundCloud

Major Lazer -Jump Up (Sticky K Remix) by Sticky K

Last I've got a great Dallas DJ you've probably heard before, Left/Right has been producing great music for about ten years now, and just about two weeks ago he dropped an awesome mix tape, his Night Mix.

Left/Right - Night Mix (part 2 of 2) by Left/Right

Dubsided recordings doing big things

Subskrpt, an artist who was just signed to the man Switch's Dubsided Recordings label put out a new record recently. On one side of the record is a track called We'll Be Fine. I can't stop listening to it.

Beataucue

Just got back from the Lollapalooza music festival today. It was bananas. I got to see rusko, kaskade, felix da house cat, erol alkin, tiga, and loads more people. Anyway, I wanted to post a track which I heard several djs drop this weekend. It's a remix of a Kylie Minogue tune called Get Outta My Way. It's biiiiiig!

Electric Soulside

Electric Soulside , of Belgium just sent me their awesome remix of Yeah Yeah Yeah's & A-track's Heads Will Roll. They're new album drops on August 25th and is sure to entertain, so check out their sound ahead of time. The track's free so grab your download:

oOoOO

oOoOO is a solo artist who occasionally teams up with the band "White Ring." This is a genre wholly new to me, but it is classified as "witch house", maybe due to the ominous undertones. This tune is hot to cruise around to. Check it.

Spotlight Sunday 2.0

So in our second installation of Spotlight Sunday I'll be throwing out three relatively newer artists with some awesome original tracks and mixtapes I've gotten over the past week.

First up is Ryley from Adelaide Australia, with a great mash up of We Should All Wear Polkadots and We Don't Speak Americano, as well as a pretty cool mixtape. Check out his myspace or better yet soundcloud to peruse his music, and check out his eclectic and variable sound.

Next up is a philly local Ditchdigger , with a chill cool sounding track Hustle. If you like what you hear head on over to his soundcloud, check that shit out!

And last but certainly not least here is STEPHEN with his new song electric wizard. Stephen and Blaine Lake were co-conspiritors in our last Spotlight Sunday with their great Congorock remix.
